2. For dried gingers and salted gingers, there is a regulation in the Plant Protection Law. Dried gingers are treated as the plant which should be examined at the timing of import. The importer should attach the Phytosanitary certificate to the merchandice and the examination at the plant protection office. For the salted gingers, please contact the contact person (e-mail: yokohama@pps.go.jp), whether the examination for plant protection would be needed or not.

Ngoài ra, còn một số chất được phép sử dụng làm nguyên liệu sản xuất thuốc thú y cho động, thực vật, thủy sản và lưỡng cư với mức giới hạn tối đa cho phép, được quy định tại Phụ lục 2 của Quyết định số 07/2005/QĐ-BTS.

Đối với một số loại thuốc thú y muốn được sử dụng trong nuôi trồng thủy sản tại Việt Nam phải được thử nghiệm, cấp phép đăng ký lưu hành theo đúng quy định nêu tại Quyết định số 03/2007/QĐ-BTS ngày 3/4/2007.

3. Danh mục các chất cấm đối với các loại thủy sản nói chung và cá tra nói riêng theo quy định của Canada gồm:

- Chloramphenicol, các muối và dẫn xuất của nó

- Hợp chất a 5-nitrofurans

- Clenbuterol muối và đồng phân của nó

- Hợp chất a 5-nitroimidazole

- Diethylstillbestrol , các hợp chất khác của stilbene

- Clenbuterol muối và đồng phân của nó.
